Keys to the game-
Shutting down Seastrunk will be essential
Adequate coverage on Williams, I am unsure how this will go, but I can tell you that without adequate coverage we are going to have difficulty getting the W. What has worked in the past is a Cover 2 Deep. We shall see what Kaufman has planned
Pressure on Florence- Here is where the seniors will have to step up. Also the safety blitz featuring Davis will not be a factor if Williams is having his way with the secondary.
I'd Like to see Robertson in as our pass rush specialist.
Will Smith needs to be put in a spy, we have been biting on play action and we need one defender who keeps an eye on the play, especially concerning Seastrunk and the draw.
Jakeem Grant should get the ball quite a bit. He is our main source of MO I think he can make short work of the Baylor secondary, if he can get past the BU LB's
The BU LB's are nothing to shake a stick at. Watch for our ability to block them, without this component, the run will be difficult.
I do not expect Baylor to play at the level they did with KSU.
I do not know what to expect from our team, though I think they would leave it all out on the field today
I do not know what to expect from our playcalling, but I suspect we will see some gadget plays, and maybe some flashes of the Riverboat Gambler today.
So let's get our GUNS UP.
That was a big sack by Delvon Simmons. He got to Florence very very quickly.
The Red Raiders are up 7-0 after a 19-yard touchdown run by Seth Doege.

off to a great NASCAR start
Yeah the Red Raider offense looked good on their first drive. If the defense can force just a few stops or a big turnover I think Tech will win it.
sack X 2 simmons
great open field tackle by Jones to cause Baylor to Punt.
I'm anxious to see how much Simmons improves before next season. He's no where near as good as he can be yet, but he's gotten a lot better. He's showing off his speed so far today.
Baylor having trouble finding a solution for the Tech offense,
D-Mo, Kennard, and Ward with catches this drive, knocking on the door.
The coaches think he may be a true dark horse. He is a beast, just a little rough.
I agree. Next year the whole front seven returns on defense, plus the additions of Jordan, Hartsfield and DaKorey Johnson. They have the potential to be a special unit.
It's still a little early, but so far Tech's offense is looking the best it has since the West Virginia game.
sadale foster is really developing, I saw him his first day at Tech and then I saw him last week and he has really changed. Bigger, looks more mature, 1000 yd stare. He is going to be big news next year.
If Tech can find a few answers at offensive line, then next year's offense has the potential (key word potential) to be better. With Williams, Foster, and DeAndre Washington returning, plus Quinton White who looked good before suffering an injury before the season started, Tech will be set at running back.
Neboh is having trouble carrying the load against t williams
dees has really gotten better since last year. I have been impressed with him
Yeah he's been Tech's best linebacker the past few weeks, IMO. At least his name has been mentioned the most.
It will be nice to have a top run game, lets hope we get some OL contributors on signing day
If Tech can find two solid corners then next year's defense has the chance to be one of the best in the conference. Tre Porter and Bruce Jones both have starting experience, so really Tech returns nine starters on defense. If Stormy Butler and Darren Doston show up as advertised, and someone like a LaDarius Newbold can step in, then watch out.
I think next year's D-Line will be in the discussion with the 2008 D-Line - McKinner Dixon, Brandon Williams, Daniel Howard, Brandon Sharpe.
The offense is really clicking right now. I just want to know where this has been in past weeks. I don't know if it's because we are playing Baylor, but it seems like we have kind of abandoned the run game.
Yeah they are playing much more aggressive on offense. I think that's the heart of this type of offense - playing aggressive and keeping a fast tempo.
Neboh drives me crazy, he is on then off then on. But he is on sometimes when it really matter. semi-clutch player.
Whoa, Doege took a shot as he slid down.
Ok I guess it wasn't as bad as I first thought.
Did ya'll catch that shoving match between Jakeem Grant and a Baylor lineman? It was kind of on the left of the screen. They were shoving and backed off then the DL made a gesture to try to scare Grant, it was pretty funny.
I like that Jakeem Grant immediately got up in some Baylor players' faces. Eric Ward just laid the wood on a block as well.
