What's your take on our mental toughness as a team?
I think today's game will tell you a lot about the team's mental toughness.
No doubt, I think this team has learned a lot since last season. Let's hope they apply that from here on out.
I think last weeks win is big proof of our mental toughness. We got blown out by OU the week before then bounce back to shove a Texas sized brisket sandwhich down West Virginias throat. Last year we had no mental toughness. Tech is playing as a team and it is b-e-a-utiful! Wreck em tech!
I think the mental toughness of TCU is more in question. They've won 28 of the last 30 at home, but I believe only one of those was against a ranked team (No. 16 Utah in 2009). I could be wrong.
TCU has only lost three games in three years, but has played much weaker competition, so I think they have a false sense of confidence and superiority. Look at my "Pre-Game Points: Tech-TCU." TCU has lost 21 guys this season, Stansly Maponga being 22. I personally don't think TCU has a chance. They are 5-1 and ranked but this will be their first real test IMO. I think Tech wins big and rides the senior leadership on both sides.
