Louisiana Tech won't play in a bowl game after turning down the Independence Bowl and not getting another offer after a chain reaction caused by OU not making a BCS bowl

Louisiana Tech will not play in a bowl game this season after finishing 9-3 and turning down an invitation to play in the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl, a source told ESPN.

Terrible decision IMO. I assume it'll have a negative effect on recruiting as well.

Yeah, that is really unfortunate. They would be very entertaining I think in a bowl game this season.
