Along with both Maryland and Rutgers joining the Big 10 conference at the beginning of the 2014 college football season, Tulane will be joining the Big East conference in all sports along with East Carolina (football only) in 2014.
So much for the Big 12 adding them. The Big 12 recently said they are happy at 10. This could get interesting. I think 16 team conferences are inevitable, just a matter of time.
