Sandland just texted me: "I have narrowed it down to 3 earlier than I expected. Arizona State, Nebraska, and Miami. Therefore I will not take my official visit to Texas Tech as I had planned for this weekend."
I asked Sandland if he would comment on dropping Tech from consideration. He said:
"I hated to do it and I really wanted to take a visit but it was really hectic and the timing was just not good and a lot of academic stuff came up that I have to take care of this weekend and that's a priority."
